Ryan Villa is an up-and-coming musician with a secret—three secrets, to be exact.
His mother weeps when he sings, so he has kept his love for music from her, which breaks his heart because he loves her so much and yet his lies have driven a wedge between them.
Speaking of love, he thinks he is falling in love with aspiring singer turned collaborator/assistant Holly. While she has a keen ear for music, she unfortunately cannot carry a tune, so even if she failed her audition as his backup singer, she stuck around.
Last, but not the least, he is intrigued by Kaiu, a talented musician with long pale white hair, a long scar across his otherwise too-beautiful face, with a penchant for writing songs about flowers. Kaiu has taken Ryan under his wing, mentoring and guiding him. They connect on their shared love for music, but Ryan feels a deeper connection with the enigmatic Kaiu, and it confuses the hell out of him.
During a music festival, where Ryan is supposed to perform in public for the first time, everything comes to a head. His mother discovers he has been lying to her. Holly discovers what he really feels for her, and Ryan comes to grips with the real connection he feels for Kaiu.
Surrounded by the people closest to him, in a night filled with music, will Ryan realize what truly matters to him, or will he lose everyone he loves?
