Two of my new short stories are featured in this anthology!
1. TRI HARD
This short story is about Jax, a college student triathlete who had to overcome insurmountable odds in his childhood. He was blessed to have two people who provided him love and support aside from his family: Bastian, his childhood best friend, and Priti, his friend-turned-girlfriend. As he competes for the very first time, it is the thought and the presence of these two special people in his life which propel Jax to reach the finish line.
2. THREE THINGS I HATE
This short story is about Jonah Ayala, an ex-rockstar making a comeback, who returns to stage his first performance in almost two decades at the school where everything began for him. Back in the 90’s, he was a college track-and-field athlete from a rival school, who expected to just compete for his school. He was pleasantly surprised when, along the way, he made lifelong friends, formed his ground-breaking band, and met the love of his life.
