It’s not truly bizarre, but Charlie and Quinn decided to do a marathon of Stephen King movies and TV series downloaded by Quinn. Of course, they did this while monitoring the chat groups they’ve infiltrated and while surfing the net for any newsworthy-related item to the crimes.
It was late in the evening when Quentin turned to Charlie and asked the question Charlie had dreamt a guy would ask her.
“Charlie, would you..”
“Would I—?”
“Would you like to go on a stakeout with me?”
Charlie’s heart beat fast. “Yes, of course!”
And from watching horror movies, they moved to driving around the city on the lookout for either a dead body or a potentially lethal manananggal flying around.
